Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Tajdeed platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with all applicable Omani laws and regulations.
2. Services
Tajdeed provides an online platform for booking vehicle inspection appointments at licensed inspection centres in the Sultanate of Oman. Tajdeed facilitates bookings and payments. Inspection results are produced by licensed inspection centres and transmitted to the Royal Oman Police in accordance with Omani law.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Bookings and Payments
Bookings are confirmed upon successful payment. Fees are calculated based on vehicle category and service selected. All payments are processed securely through Bank Muscat SmartPay. Prices are displayed in Omani Rial (OMR) inclusive of applicable taxes.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a booking up to 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations within 2 hours of the appointment are not eligible for refund in the current phase.
6. Vehicle Documents
You are responsible for ensuring your vehicle documents (Mulkiya and insurance) are valid on the date of inspection. Failure to present valid documents at the inspection centre may result in the inspection being refused without refund.
7. Re-inspection
Vehicles that fail inspection are entitled to one free re-inspection within 14 days of the original inspection date. After this grace period, standard fees apply.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to submit false information, to impersonate another person, or to interfere with the platform's operation. Violation may result in immediate account termination.
9. Limitation of Liability
Tajdeed is not liable for inspection outcomes, vehicle damage during inspection, or delays caused by inspection centres. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Muscat.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
